| Library Rules and Regulations |
- The following is prohibited: loitering, soliciting, smoking, consumption of food and drink, pets, bare feet, excessive noise, offensive odour, improper behaviour, obstruction of people, use of profanity, sleeping on premises.
- Infraction will result in a warning, and if any further action is necessary, the patron or patrons causing disturbance will be asked to leave the Library. If that patron refuses to leave, she will be warned and stern action will be taken.
- Breach of rules on attire may also render a student liable for disciplinary action not being allowed into the library.
- Bags, cases, files, folders are not allowed to be taken into the Library. Those materials must be left near the entrance/exit.
- All books and personal belongings must be shown to the staff at the Library exit whenever required to do so.
- All games are prohibited.
- Anything of value should not be left unattended in the Library. The Library does not take responsibility for the loss or damaged such items.
- Any personal possessions brought into the Library should not be left unattended and should not cause obstruction to other users.
- Vacated seats may not be reserved for more than fifteen minutes.
- Accessing undesirable Internet sites and downloading, printing and circulating undesirable materials are strictly prohibited.
- Using computer software, which is not owned by the Library or any of the Library's personal computer are not allowed.
- Storing documents are not allowed in the microcomputer network or hard disks.
- The library staffs on duty have the right to request a user to leave the premises if he is found to be violating any of the library rules.
- Both ordinary members and external members must show prominently on themselves their staff / students’ card or library membership card upon entering the library.
- Silence will be strictly observed in the library. Hand phones, pagers and watch alarms should be switched off before entering the library. Users can bring in their hand phones but not permitted to receive and make any calls.
- In order to maintain the good image of the College, Library patrons are reminded that they must properly and decently attired when they enter the Library in accordance to the College dress code.

- Clothes with indecent words or pictures

- Library users, who photocopy materials, are fully responsible for any action liable and contravening the Copyright Act.
- Users are not allowed to remove library furniture and equipment from their original place.
- Members must ensure that items checked out are to be or renewed on or before the date due. Notices sent by the library through e-mail serve only as a reminder and non-receipt of the notices does not absolve any member from paying fines or other penalties as stated in theses rules.

- General Collection: RM 0.50 per day/item

- Counter Reserved Materials: RM 1.00 per every hour/item
|

Exam results will be withheld and students will be ineligible to apply for any award from the University while any item is still overdue or replacement costs or other charges are still outstanding.

- Each borrower is responsible for every item he / she borrowed.
- For any items lost, he / she have to pay double the cost of the item plus processing fees. Whenever replacement is not possible the library committee has to decide on the cost of the replacement.
- All books and personal belongings must be shown to the staff or security officer at the library exits whenever required to do so.
- Users who are caught hiding, defacing or damaging library property will be subject to disciplinary action.
- Accessing undesirable Internet sites and downloading, chatting, e-mail, printing and circulating undesirable materials is strictly prohibited.
- Installing software or changing any of the microcomputer system set-ups or any of the library’s personal computers is also strictly prohibited.
- All the users can use photocopy machine and printers.
