Example: Descriptive Cataloging for Origianl Art


  1. Step 1: The physical format of the item is an original art.


  2. Step 2: The chief source of information for graphic materials is the item itself including any labels, etc., that are permanently affixed to the item or a container that is an integral part of the item.


  3. Step 3: Below is the prescribed sources of information for each area of the description.
